Adverse weather last night threatened to wash out this afternoon's helicopter arrival of Hungarian-born Magda Gabor. Captain Charles Johnson, Air Force Pilot, stated last night he could not fly in rain or without a ceiling of at least 3000 feet.
The forecast at press time last night, however, indicated no rain today.
A committee of several undergraduates, members of the ROTC staffs, and an undisclosed "dignitary," will welcome Miss Gabor as she alights from the helicopter. Laurence D. Savadove '53 will be master of ceremonies, Alan I. W. Frank '54, co-chairman of the drive, announced last night.
Robert L. Jenkins '54, ROTC representative, announced the pledge figures for the three units. They are: Air Force, 281 pledges, or 62.8 percent of the unit; Navy, 211 pledges, or 68.5 percent of the unit; and Army, 157 pledges, or 58.8 percent of the unit.
