Eliot took the House wrestling championship at the IAB last night with 26 points, and Dunster piled up 13 points for the second spot. Massachusetts and Holworthy Halls shared freshman laurels with ten points apiece.
Eliot dominated the upperclass tournament with six men in the finals. The Elephants Bill Shoeberlein and Sid Tyler faced each other in the 147 pound class, and Noel Scullion and Pete Saurian met in the 177 pound competition. Frank Lombardi at 137 pounds, and Whitey Black, in the unlimited division, both pinned their men, to make it a perfect evening for the Elephants.

Also scoring pins were Ed Moriarty of Leverett and John Rosenthal of Dunster. Larry Wilde of Lowell met Dunster's Burton Hersh in the closest match of the evening, with Wilde getting the victory by a referee's decision.
Standouts among the freshmen were Steve Shohet of Massachusetts, who shut out his opponent in the 147 pound class, and Pete Morrison, also of Massachusetts, who scored the only pin in the freshman section of the tournament.
totals for the other Houses were: Leverett, 8; Lowell, 5; and Winthrop, Dudley and Kirkland, 3 apiece.
