First drafts for Commencement Parts must be submitted by April 10, the Faculty Commencement Committee announced yesterday. The traditional Commencement program includes three parts, a Latin salutatory, and both an undergraduate and a graduate English address.
Speakers will be chosen from the highest ranking scholars at Commencement. Those submitting Parts must be honors candidates and candidates for degrees either this June or at last midyears.
John P. Elder, associate professor of Greek and Latin and head of the Faculty Committee, plans to confer with applicants in his office in Holyoke 14.
