Almost 230 summer job opportunities for undergraduates are now open. The Student Employment Office will receive job applications starting today, director Graham Taylor announced yesterday.
Summaries of some of the positions will be published in the CRIMSON'S daily notice column. The first of these appear this morning.
Some of the jobs are for juniors with an eye to the future. "We have a few for juniors who want to tie in their summer work with long range job plans," Taylor explained. Nevertheless, a good number are available for all juniors, he added.
Science Jobs Noted
Job listings are broken down geographically for the convenience of students who will be searching for summer employment while home during spring vacation.
Student interested in looking over the listings should visit the Employment Office, Weld 30, on weekdays between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Many jobs are of a scientific nature, Taylor noted. He urged students in all fields to come in, if interested, however. Some jobs requiring no previous training are available.
