Fosters, Button Star at Hanover

Sidney Foster '54 whisks over the ice in pre-game warm ups before her appearance with her brother Charles Foster '56 at the Dartmouth Winter Carnival's ice show tonight.

Sharing the spotlight with the Cliffe student will be national sharing champ Dick Button 11 and Rugh Graham '55 Button will skate part of his '52 Olympic feature before the more than 1800 guests of the Big Green Outing Club.

Skling Races Saturday

The 43rd Dartmouth weekend sloshes into the snow Saturday as Button's Olympic teammates Brooks Dodge and Bill Reck pace the host team's bid to cop their own skiing Championship. The racing face includes a giant down hill on Moose Mountain north of Hanover and jumping on the Indians 40 meter golf course hill in the carnival.

Sidney Foster skated in "Ice Chips," the annual production of the Skating Club of Boston. Later this month, she and her brother will enter the Easterm States figure skating championships at Lake Placid.

Button now skates professionally in his free time.
