Injured Skater Chase Out for Three Games

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Crimson right wing George Chase will be lost to the hockey team for its remaining three games, doctors at Massachusetts General Hospital said Yesterday.

Chase broke his right checkbone in a Tuesday evening game against Brown. Operated on Wednesday, he was still being held for treatment last night.

The Winthrop House senior, son of former hockey coach John P. Chase '28, has played for all three Crimson lines this year. At the time of his injury, he was playing for the Crimson's first offensive unit.

At yesterday's hockey practice, Dick Clasby moved up in Chase's place. With the Yale game coming up Saturday, Coach Cooney Welland made adjustments in his second and third lines. The second line was composed of Jeb Bray, Norm Wood, and Frank Mahoney and on the third line were Doug Manchester, Neddle Bliss, and Scott Cooledge.

The Crimson sextet faces a fast and rugged Eli outfit at the Arena tomorrow night in the first game of the annual home and home series with the Blue.
