Fencers Take Fourth Place In Pentagonal Championships

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Crimson fencers fought their way to fourth place in the annual Pentagonal Championships at the New York Athletic Club Saturday.

Navy took the championship in the five-team affair, with Princeton second, and Yale third. Army's 1952 Pentagonal champions slumped to last place.

Harry Ziel in the saber and Jan Jertson in the foils were top competitors for the Crimson. Each failed to place in the individual trophy competition, however.

Next opponent is Columbia on Saturday.
