Robert J. Blattner '53 of Milwaukee, Wis., and Lowell House has been awarded the Palfrey Exhibition, conferred each year on "the most distinguished scholar in the Senior Class."

Blattner was elected to Phi Beta Kappa last spring, one of eight juniors to receive that honor. He holds a National Scholarship and is currently a candidate for honors in mathematics.

The Palfrey Award was established in 1821 by John Gorham Palfry, a member of the Class of 1815.
