Wrestlers Tie Brown 16-16, At Providence

Favored Brown had to come from behind to gain a 16-16 tie with the newly shuffied lineup of Coach Bob Pickett's varsity wrestling team at Providence Saturday.

The varsity opened up with three straight wins. Dick Adams scored a decision at 123, while brother Bud won on a pin at 137. Captain Johnny Lee routed rough Frank Yatsu, scoring a 12-0 decision over the Bruin 130 pounder.

The Bruins cut down the Crimson's 11-0 lead, with Angus Maclean pinning Larry Wilde at 147. The varsity's Hugh Chandler pinned Bruin 157 pounder Ted Kerriter to end Harvard scoring for the day.

Brown took the final three bouts with Larry Samsel's decision over Tony Caimi at 167. Dana Eastman's pin over Ken Culbert at 177, and Don Seifert's decision of George Bates in the heavyweight match.

The Yardling wrestlers defeated Exeter 18-6 at the I.A.B.
