Yardling skiers are at Putney, Vt., today for their first match under the leadership of newly elected Captain John Vohr. Tomorrow, they will join the varsity at Mt. Greylock, Mass., for the slalom championships. Both teams will later in the day compete in the giant slalom at Pinkham Notch, N.H.
Yardling Fencers
Freshman fencers yesterday battled Boston University swordsmen to a 6-6 standstill in an informal match at the Blockhouse.
All four Crimson sabremen won their bouts by wide margins. Bill Kaden and Duncan Adams each registered 5-1 victories. In the foil and epee, B.U. captured six out of the eight remaining bouts and thus earned a draw.
