Boston College High School's fine all-around athlete Bill Donlon has been offered the McDonald McKay Scholarship worth $12,000 for undergraduate study and a possible two years of graduate work at the University.
To collect the award, Donlan does not have to participate in varsity athletics, but as a schoolboy he has been a standout in football, baseball, and hockey. As a student Donlan has maintained an average of 93-1, and has never been off the honor role.
He has made no replay to the offer as yet.
