Harvard Students To Vote on Divestment From Israel in Inaugural HUA Election Survey
The varsity rifle team dropped its opening league match of the season, 1,350 to 1,373, to Brown at Providence Saturday.
Crimson sophomore John Hessel was high scorer for the match with a total of 282 points. Bill Schleiber of Brown placed second with 278. Frank Sweet was the second best shot for the Crimson, ranking fourth in the match.
Also in the Crimson lineup were John Leness, Mary Prescott, and Charlie Walcott, Lencess came in eighth with 270.
Next Saturday, the varsity will shoot against Boston College in the second match of the season.
