Stoughton took over sole possession of first place in the National League last night in freshman intramural basketball play at the Indoor Athletic Building.

Combining its 31-10 defeat of Hollis with Holworthy's 27-19 defeat of Matthews North, Stoughton went into the lead with a 7-0 record. In other games last night Wigglesworth East trounced Weld North, 38-19, and Straus South topped Grays, 29-22. Apley is still leading the American League with a 7-0 slate.
