Four Teams Dominate Freshman Fall Sports

Weld South, IIollis, Matthews North, and Stoughton, champions of their respective intramural touch football leagues, finished in that order in the cumulative point standings for the fall season.

Adolph Samborski, director of intramural athletics, announced that all four teams are closely bunched.

Although Holworthy and Lionel captured first and second place in freshman intramural cross country, they could do no better than eighth and tenth places in the over-all totals.

The standings: Weld South, 100; Hollis, 96, Matthews North, 93 1/2; Stoughton, 91 1/2; Dudley, 32; Weld North, 70; Matthews South, 68; Holworthy, 65; Mower, 62, Lionel, 61 1/2; Wigglesworth East, 50; Thayer Middle, 40; Massachusetts, 32 1/2; Straus North, 31; Straus South, 31; Grays and Thayer South, 22 1/2; Wigglesworth West, 19; and Apley, 12.
