School Aid Group Meets at College, Reviews Policies

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Almost a hundred alumni gathered in University Hall Friday and Saturday for the bi-annual meeting of the Harvard administration and members of the Schools and Scholarships Committees.

The group met Friday afternoon, Saturday morning, watched the Harvard-Princeton football game Saturday afternoon, and then went to the Harvard Club of Boston.

According to Director of Admissions Wilbur J. Bender '27, the group discussed no new policies or quoted any figures. It was "just a meeting for our own mutual education," Bender said. "We didn't discuss any changes. We just talked about what we are all doing."

Previous Meeting

The last time the meeting was held, before the Princeton game in 1951, the representatives discussed the problems of promoting the College to prospective high school students, and of financial aid to students who come here.

Included among the topics in 1951 were discussions on how much a student should earn during the summer, and whether outside work while in College leaves enough time for course work and outside activities.
