Figures in Cambridge Voting Unannounced

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Local Voters (shown above) went to the polls yesterday, but winners in the Cambridge election will not be announced for at least several days, Election Commission officials announced last night.

It is expected, however, that the counting of votes on the Plan E referendum will be finished today.

The delay in the reporting of results in the City Council and School Committee elections is due to the complicate manner in which votes are counted under proportional representation voting.
