Cross country coach Bill McCurdy announced last night the election of Frankloin R. Nahigian '55, of Dudley and Watertown, as varsity captain for the 1954 season.
McCurdy, commenting on Nahigian's election, said, "This represents what can be done by hard work. This was a boy who didn't show much as a freshman, but he's come a long way since then."
"I'm sure he will make a fine captain," McCurdy added.
Nahigian is also on the track team and played on the jayvee baseball team this spring.
