Roger Allen Moore '53, a first year law student, was awarded this year's Endicott Peabody Saltonstall '94 Prize, it was announced yesterday.

The award, worth more than $300, goes each year to "that senior in Harvard Law College, preparing to enter Harvard Law School who is best fitted by intellect, character and physique to be influenced by Saltonstall's example and in turn to influence others."

As an undergraduate, Moore was president of the Harvard Young Republicans Club and the College Federation of Young Republicans. He won the Boylston Public Speaking Contest and was one of the founders of the Harvard Athenaeum.
