The Harvard School Study Group has been awarded a contract to survey the city of Haverhill school housing needs.

The Haverhill School Committee voted the contract on the low bid of $7,000 for three months work, starting Dec. 1.

Cyril G. Sargent, Director of the Center for Field Studies at the Graduate School of Education, conferred with the committee before the final decision, and agreed to make 500 copies of the report. Sargent also told the town's representatives that he would held two meetings on preliminary reports, and would have the staff available for conferences.

The staff includes: Eugene L. Belisle '31, Alfred D. Simpson, of the Graduate School of Education, and Donald P. Mitchell, associate director of the Center for Field Studies at the Education School.
