A revamped Crimson lineup will meet the Brown soccer team today when the Bruins invade the Business School Field at noon.
If an effort to shake his squad out of its low-scoring doldrums, Bruce Munro will make four or possibly five shifts in his starting team, the first large-scale overhaul of his starting lineup since the season began.
Marv Weiss, who had recently been a reserve utility man, will start in the left inside position with Stacy Holmes moved up from center half to center forward. Denny Little will take his place and may find Juan Rodriguez, heretofore a fullback, as one of his fellow halfbacks. Lindsey Fischer will probably make his first start of the season in the goal.
An injury to right wing Bill Lingelbach will force Munro to use either Grif Buttrick or Bill Cowperthwaite in that spot. Stacy Holmes may be handicapped buy an old sprain, but Munro is counting on him today.
Diminutive wing Daniel Chu sparks the Brown attack which had had little more success at scoring than the Crimson. A former Mount Hermon Standout, Chuspecializes in setting up co-captains Chuck Gesen, inside, and Chick Swanson, center.
Crimson Favored
The Bruins lost to Williams 1 to 0 and to Dartmouth 4 to 0. The Crimson topped Williams 2 to 1, and lost to Dartmouth only 2 to 0. So on these comparative scores, Brown rates slight underdog role for today's contest.
