Brown's freshman soccer team edged Poley Guyda's Yardlings 2 to 1 yesterday afternoon at Providence. The defeat was the third in a row for the Crimson freshmen.

Grey Hodnett scored the only Crimson goal on a sensational 25-yard kick after nine minutes in the second quarter to tie the scorin after Tom Bitting had tallied for the Bears midway in the first period.

Brown won the game early in the fourth quarter of Harold Mansfield's short kick out a jam-up in front of the Crimson goal.
