Rowing three-quarters of a mile down-stream into a slight headwind, Howard Cushing stroked his eight-oared crew to the championship in the varsity's annual "Hollow Log Regatta." Bliss', Lincoln's and Walcott's boats followed.

This intra-squad race climaxes fall outdoor rowing for Coach Harvey Leve's crows. The Crimson will move inside to rowing machines and tanks for its winter's workout.

The first and second boatings:

First: bow, Hopkins; 2, Chandler; 3, Peterson; 4, Cunningham; 5, Elis; 6, Monks; 7, Reynolds; stroke, H. Cushing; cox, Williams.

Second: bow, Weatherhead; 2, Sundquist; 3, Harrison; 4, Hallo; 5, Gertsoma; 6, Hearne; 7, Krumbhaar; stroke, Bliss; cox, Milton.
