Yardling Soccer Team Outscores Milton, 7-2

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The freshman soccer team easily defeated Milton Academy yesterday, 7 to 2, at Milton. In the first minute of the game, Yardling Mike Robertson rushed forward to score the first in a series of Crimson goals.

Milton's Doug Robb, who scored both the Academy goals, came through at the end of the first quarter with the shot that put Milton back in the game.

But the home team's weak defense was unable to withstand the scoring attempts by Yardlings Henry Holmes, Harry Wexler, Bill Parker, Geoff Chalmers, "Red" Murphy, and Jim Polese, each of whom added a goal to Robertson's starter to bring the final Crimson total up to seven.
