Funeral Forces Delay of Cross-country Test

Funeral services for Boston University football player John Pappas have forced postponement of the Crimson B.U. cross-country meet, from today to Wednesday.

The Wednesday date may not even be certain, however, Coach Bill McCurdy said yesterday, depending on whether the use of Franklin Field can be arranged for the meet. The meet is tentatively scheduled for 3:45 p,m., when the freshman race begins.

Last Friday, the Crimson upset a favored Providence team, with Hal Gerry registering the first individual victory for the team since 1951.
