Schoolboy athletic star William Donlan '57 last night announced that he will leave the College and study at Holy Cross instead.
Donlan was a standout in football, baseball, and hockey at Boston College High School, and was sought after by dozens of colleges following his graduation.
Finally, he accepted a scholarship awarded by the Harvard Club of Boston.
He has been practicing with Bob Margarita's freshman team since workouts opened early last week. "I just didn't feel at home," Donlan said was the reason he left Harvard.
Donlan had attended classes for the first week of the term.
