Coach Jordon Leads Drill in Briggs Cage

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Coach Lloyd Jordan sent the varsity football squad through a long, no-contact drill in the Briggs Cage yesterday afternoon for his first indoor practice during a season since he came to the College.

The coach indicated that the day's program of dummy scrimmage and signal drills involved considerable waiting around between turns, and he didn't want the players to risk catching cold two days before the Davidson game.

Lewis Works Out

Back in action for the Crimson yesterday for the first time were wingback Dexter Lewis, end Frank Yoffe, and tackle Irv Templeton. Lewis had been resting a bad leg earlier in the week, while Yoffe and Templeton had been missing for ten days and a month, respectively.

The Davidson team is expected to arrive at Logan Airport at 3 p.m. today, the time of the Crimson's light afternoon drill.
