Massachusetts General Hospital authorities reported late last night that the condition of Joseph K. Serhant '56 is still serious.

Serhant, who had been in a coma since he was discovered in his parked automobile Wednesday night, did regain consciousness for just a few moments yesterday. The Dunster House sophomore was not able to answer doctors' questions, however.

Serhant was taken to the hospital Wednesday night after he was found unconscious at the wheel of his parked car. Until he is able to respond to hospital tests, the hospital authorities will not be able to determine the full extent of his injuries.
