Wigglesworth East, Matthews South, and Matthews North took over the leads in their leagues in freshman touch football yesterday.

Wigglesworth East and Thayer Middle played the highest scoring game of the day as Wigglesworth East took over the American League lead with a 60-19 win. This victory gives Wigglesworth East a three wins, no losses record.

In the Southern League, Matthews South boosted its record to three wins and one loss by defeating Grays 29-6. With the victory Matthews South moves into first place in the Southern League.

Four forfeits were registered yesterday. Holworthy forfeited to Matthews North, giving Matthews North a 4-0 record and undisputed first place in the Northern League.

In other scheduled games, Stoughton forfeited to Mower, Thayer North to Weld North, and Thayer South to Straus South.

There was no action in the National League.
