Joseph K. Serhant, Dunster House sophomore, was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital last night after being found unconscious in his car yesterday.

According to Cambridge police, a passing student discovered Serhant about 6:30 last night, slumped over the wheel of his automobile in a garage on Mellon St. in Cambridge. Police immediately summoned the Cambridge Fire Rescue Squad which attempted unsuccessfully to revive Serhant. He was then rushed to Cambridge City Hospital and transferred a short time later to Massachusetts General.

Doctors at the hospital said early this morning that Serhant had not yet regained consciousness. The full extent of his injuries remained undetermined as the hospital awaited results of X-rays and other tests.

A medical report is expected today.
