All Sports Writers, Managers Meet in Annual Grid Classic

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The annual football classic between the Benevolent and Protective Society of Soldiers Field Football Writers and the Football Managers has been tentatively scheduled for Monday, Nov. 2.

The Managers still owe the writers a case of beer from last year's 6 to 0 thriller, but Scribe coach and Boston Traveler correspondent Grantland Weiss expects another victory.

But the highest scoring player in the history of the competition, Michael J. Halberstam '53 is now studying in a B.U. medical school lab, and the Writers are currently trying to revise their attack and not their writing.
