What local residents have anticipated for approximately 86 years or so, happened last Saturday in Princeton, N.J.

The United States Naval Academy's football team ran all over the Princetons, 65 to 7, the largest score run up against a Nassau team in 85 years of intercollegiate football.

Whether the Midshipmen deliberately rolled up the score or not is a debatable question. Coach Eddie Erdelatz used 34 men. But the usually stingy Princeton coach, Charley Caldwell, certainly had no intention of running the score up--he used 35.
