University Buys Brannan Estate

After several previous attempts, the University has succeeded in buying a piece of real estate on De Wolfe St., opposite Leverett House, known locally as the "Brennan Property." Workmen, pictured above, have started tearing down the unit on the lot.

The office of Charles C. Pyne, Assistant to the Administrative Vice President, yesterday announced acquisition of the property, comprising a boarding house and adjoining parking lot.
