Button Has Two Solo Acts In Current Ice Capade Show

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Dick Button scales straw hats into the Boston Garden stratosphere this week in one of his Ice Capades sets. As main drawing card of the million dollar show the first year law student soloes in two acts.

His first act consists mainly of the technical figure skating which won him two Olympic crowns. In his second act he turns to the more showy side of fancy skating and entertains the highly pleased crowd with various intricate cake walk routines, mostly done on the toes of his $120 skates.

According to Arthur Sullivan, publicity director of the show, Button is responsible for the show's increased attendance.
