Hockey Greats Practice With Crimson Team During Exams

Visitors to the Arena during the week were surprised with a virtual new look, as far the Crimson hockey team is concerned.

It was a slightly old look, too. Since Crimson skaters, buried under exams, aren't showing up for practice too regularly, coach Cooney Weiland has been calling on various former hockey greats to fill up teams enough for scrimmage.

On the roster Thursday were Weiland, once of the Brains, Kip Farrington, deep sea fisherman and ace goalie, and Jack Hutchinson, who has managed several Olympic teams on trips to Europe. He is a vice-president of the New Haven Railroad.
