No deferments will be granted to freshman Army ROTC members before February 16, the Department of Military Science announced yesterday. At that time the Department of the Army will tell the College the size of the deferment quota.

The quota is expected to include at least 85 percent of those enrolled in Military Science One.

ROTC officials also announced all enrolled freshmen will receive a statutory deferment until the end of the academic year.
