To the Editors of the CRIMSON:
The choice of a successor to James B. Conant has replaced all other conversation around the college. That choice is of special interest to the class of '53 which is all probability will be the first class to graduate under the new president.
It is with this thought is mind that I wonder whether the Corporation will continue its age old policy of choosing presidents or adopt a new method of selection.
If the Corporation can grow up with the times, perhaps it will choose "a man who speaks in Harvard words" and select Adial E. Stevenson as the next president of Harvard University. William J. De Muth, Jr. '53
