Conant Appointment Causes Third Ivy President Vacancy

President Conant's resignation makes Harvard the third Ivy League College left President less by the Eisenhower administration.

Eisenhower himself, caused a is vancy at Columbia, and the appointment of Harold Stassen president of the University of Pennsylvania as Director of Mutual Security caused another vacancy.

Just recently Grayson Kirk, who had been Columbia's actions president moved into Eisenhower's job but Pennsylvania and now Harvard still have vacancies.
