Varsity, '56 Boats Initiate Fall Season; 150's Row Today

Five crews practiced on the Charles yesterday in the first day of fall rowing as both the varsity candidates and the freshmen reported to Newell Boathouse. The 150 lb. crews, coached by Ted Reynolds, start their season this afternoon.

Varsity coach Harvey Love said last night that five men from last year's varsity boat survived graduation to report this fall. Captain Phil DuBois rows at no. 2; John Atherton, 3; Bill Geertsema, 5; Dick Higgins, 4; and Lee Roumer, 6.
