One hundred and thirty men turned out for the first official freshman football practice yesterday afternoon at Soldiers Field. Fifteen other men have signed up to play but couldn't make it yesterday.

Coach Henry R. "Bob" Margarita will use the 'A' and 'B' team system again this year, cutting no one, and playing two different schedules. The former Chicago Bear star plans to keep 44 men on his 'A' squad.

Margarita plans no heavy workout until Friday, and no scrimmages until next week. The Yardlings open at Andover, October 4.
