A recent survey by the American Alumni Council reveals that the University ran fourth behind Yale, Wellesley and Notre Dame in alumni gifts during the past year.
In a record breaking year which saw the equivalent of the income from nearly a quarter of a billion dollars contributed by graduates to their alma maters, Harvard took in $615,613 compared to Yale's $1,010,324 total an-all-time record for any American college.
Placing behind Harvard in gift totals were Dartmouth, Princeton, Vassar and Stanford, in that order.
