The glossy marble floors, fluorescent lights and glass doorways of Lamont Library will not get a chance to metamorphose into a Crystal Palace, Chase Peterson. First Marshal of the Class of '52 announced yesterday.
Library officials have vetoed the Class Day Committee's proposal to hold the Senior Spread in Lamont in case of rain.
Due to the Administration's decision the Committee has chosen Lowell and Winthrop Houses for the affair if the weather is inclement. Both dining halls and common rooms will be used, and the two Houses will be connected by a canopy stretching over Mill Street.
