The United Nations Educational. Scientific and Cultural Organizations has announced the publication of two bulletins that describe international scholarships and foreign travel opportunities for the coming year.
"Study Abroad, Volume IV" is UNESCO's annual survey of international study opportunities. It lists more than 38,000 scholarships for the '51-52 school year and indicates many of those available in '53-54.
American students, the handbook says, are eligible for more than 5,000 fellowships in 38 countries. Opportunities range from tuition and maintenance costs only to grants covering travel and living allowance.
This and "Vacation Study Supplement," discussing summer travel opportunities can be purchased in bookstores and from the Columbia University Press.
