Phi Beta Kappa officials yesterday announced the election of six honorary members. They are:

Charles Eustis Bohlen '27, counselor to the State Department; John Ciardi, Briggs-Copeland assistant professor of English: John R. Dos Passos '16, novelist; Wilmarth Sheldon Lewis, author and editor and a member of the Yale University Corporation; David Edward Owen, professor of History and chairman of the Committee on General Education; and Warren Abner Seavey '02, Bussey Professor of Law.
