Leverett's red-hot baseball team stopped a ninth-inning Dunster rally yesterday to beat the Funsters, 4 to 3, and cop the House intramural baseball laurels with a final record of seven wins, no defeats. Stu Lanier pitched the Bunnies the championship, holding the Funsters almost helpless until he tired.
In the only other hard-ball game. Kirkland snuffed out Adams, 3 to 0. The Deacons' Don Cass pitched a three hitter, while team-mate Skip Kiphart helped him out by driving in two runs.
Dunster Wins Softball
Dunster swamped Levorett in softball, 17 to 3, and wound up in a first place tie with the Bunnies, both teams having a six and one record. Kirkland Hcked Adams, 10 to 4, in yesterday's only other softball action.
In an informal crew race down the Charles, Eliot's second boat finished five lengths ahead of Kirkland's. Meanwhile, Leverett's golfers lost to Dudley, 3 to 2.
