In addition, the heavy downfall had soaked the tennis courts and the baseball diamond to such an extent that Athletic Association officials were forced to call off the varsity baseball game with Tufts. The freshman tennis match with Deerfield, at Deerfield, was also washed out.

Immediately after the postponement, however, it was announced that the baseball game will be played at 3:45 p.m. today on Soldiers Field.

The tennis match, meanwhile, will also be played today, again on Deer-field's courts. Despite recent heavy rain in the western part of the state. Academy authorities hope to be able to complete the match.
