Music Awards Given
Two music awards for graduate students were announced yesterday at the meeting of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. The George Arthur Knight Prize sent to Billy Jim Layton 1G along with the income from the fund for a string quartet.
John Herbert Davison 1G winner of the Bohemian Club Prize, received a similar grant from the income from the fund for a Suite for Piano. The prizes were announced simultaneously with the Bowdoin Prizes in literature for undergraduates.
