The freshman baseball team ended its season in good style Saturday afternoon at Marion, crushing Tabor Academy 11 to 3. Righthander Steve Szaraz went all the way for the Yardlings, giving Adolph Samborski's team its sixth win of the year, against four defeats.
Earlier in the week, Alan Sherwood Botter '55 of Brooklyn and Wigglesworth was announced winner of the freshman baseball managerial competition.
