Bruner, Associate Professor, Will Get Full Psychology Post

Jerome S. Bruner, asociate professor of Psychology, will be made a full professor on the first of July, Provost Buck announced yesterday.

A graduate of Duke who received his Ph.D. at the University in 1941. Bruner directed the Federal Communication Commission's analysis of Axis shortwave broadcasts from Italy during World War II. He was also surveys director of the Psychological Warfare Division of SHAEF
