The Yardling lacrosse team treks to New Haven today to meet the Yale freshmen, their last college opponent of the year. The Yardlings' last game is with Governor Dummer on Saturday.
The Yale team is strong this year and should give the freshmen a hard game. Though it won its last till from Williams. 8 to 4, the Yard ten is going to have to play better to beat the Elis. The Blue squad beat a fine Exerted team, and also Deerfield Academy, both teams that smashed the Crimson.
Coach Pickett feels that his team is "up" for the game and "stands a good chance of winning."
Better coordination between the midfield and the attack, and the defense and the goalie can be the different between a win or a loss for the Yardlings.
