Conant to Teach New Course in Philosophy

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

President Conant resumes full-time teaching duties next fall, in a new half-course to be entitled "The Philosophy of Science." The course, Philosophy 150, will deal with the methods of the natural sciences and their philosophic and social implications.

Since Conant became president in 1933, he has conducted only one other course, Natural Sciences 4, but in 1947 he gave up almost all lecturing in that.
